Danka Barteková
Danka Barteková is a Slovak skeet shooter and Bronze medalist, won at the Olympic Games 2012 in London. She started shooting at the age of 13 years in 1998. During her junior years she achieved much success, with a total of four medals won at the European and World Championships.
As a senior, alongside her Bronze Olympic medal she holds many medals from World and European championships, and World Cups. She finished 8th in the Women’s Skeet event at the 2008 Summer Olympics. She also competed in the 2016 Summer Olympics. In addition, Danka is a Final World Record Holder of 99/100 shots, shot during the European Championships 2008, Nicosia, Cyprus.
In 2012 she was elected to the IOC Athletes’ Commission and in 2015 Danka became chairman of the IOC Coordination Commission for the Winter Youth Olympic Games Lausanne 2020.
